254 the Payment of the Money due by virtue of the Bond aforesaid doth for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators Covenant Grant and Agree to and with the said Charles Carroll his Heirs Executors and Administrators that the Conveyance herein before made shall stand and be Good and effectual to the said Charles Carroll and his Heirs as Trustee in manner aforesaid to enforce the Payment of the aforesaid last mentioned sum of Money as fully and Amply to all intents and Purposes as if the same had been settled by the Articles of Agreement aforesaid always giving Preference to the Payment of the sum of Money due by ^virtue of^ the Articles of Agreement aforesaid In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto set their Hands and Seals the day and Year first above Written Daniel Carroll seal Signed Sealed and Delivered in Charles Carroll Seal the Presence of us The Word Butler in the Seventeenth line of the sixth Page being first interlined Rachel Darnall John Reresby On the back of the above Deed was thus Written Viz.t Jan.y 16.th 1764 Received of Charles Carroll Esq Ten shillings Sterling being the Consideration Money within mentioned as Witness my Hand Test John Reresby Daniel Carroll January 16.th 1764 Then came the within named Daniel Carroll before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein Specified to be the Right and Estate of the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns Subject to the Trusts therein Contained According to the True Intent and Meaning thereof 40 sd Geo Steuart Recorded the 21.st day of March 1764 Ex.d This Indenture made this Twentieth day of March in the Year seventeen hundred and Sixty four Between Robert Davidge of Ann Arundel County of the one Part and Cornelius Garretson and Nathaniel Waters of the City of Annapolis of the other Part Witnesseth that the said (Robert) |
