       Jan.ry 13 1764   Then came the within named M.r Carroll before me the
       Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and
       Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be her Act and Deed
       and the Lands ^and^ Premisses therein Specified to be the Right and Estate
       of the said Daniel Carroll His Heirs and Assigns

Ex.d   This Indenture made the sixteenth day of January in the Year of
       our Lord one Thousand seven hundred and Sixty four Between Daniel
       Carroll of Upper Malborough Prince Georges County in the Province of Maryland
       Gentleman of the one Part and Charles Carroll of the City of
       Annapolis and Province of Maryland Esq of the other Part Whereby ^by^ Articles
       of Agreement made concluded and Agreed upon on or about the Tenth
       day of August in the Year of our Lord in the Year of our Lord One thousand
       seven hundred and fifty one between the said Daniel Carroll by the name
       of Daniel Carroll of the Town of Malborough in Prince Georges County
       Gentleman of the one Part and Eleanor Carroll Deceased by the name
       Eleanor Carroll of Prince Georges County Spinster and the said Charles
       Carroll by the name of Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis in Ann
       Arundel County Esq uncle and Guardian of the said Eleanor Carroll
       of the other Part reciting that Whereas a Marriage was then Shortly
       to be had and Solemnized Between the said Daniel Carroll and Eleanor
       Carroll It was therefore Agreed by and between the said Parties
       in Manner Following that is to say the said Daniel Carroll in
       Consideration and Prospect of the said intended Marriage and of
