221. Parker together with the Right of Reversion and Redemption of any or all the before mentioned Negroes to him the said James Marshall his heirs and Assigns for ever as in and by the said Several Deeds relation being thereunto had may more fully appear But before the said James Marshall could obtain and get into his Possession the Personal Estate or any part thereof devised by the said John Smith to the aforesaid Alethea from Young Parran his Executor he the said James Marshall gave and executed a Bond to the aforesaid Young Parran in the Penalty of six hundred Pounds reciting That Whereas the above named Young Parran Executor of the last will and Testament of John Smith late of Calvert County deceased did pay or deliver unto James Weems and Thomas Ireland in right of Hutchinson Parker and Alethea his Wife nine Negroes Viz Isaac Mole Psicky Nell Nasy Annica Vity Fanny and Ned all which Negroes were appraised in the Estate of the said John Smith & pursuant to his Will Also Cattle to the Amount of six pounds five shillings Currency as per the said Weems and Irelands Bond and Receipt bearing date the Twenty third day of March seventeen hundred and fifty seven and which Negroes &.a they the said James Weems and Thomas Ireland received by Virtue of a Deed from the said Hutchinson Parker and Alethea Wife which is recorded among the Records of Calvert County And Whereas the said James Marshall hath this day received the following part of the above named Negroes by the hands of the said James Weems Vi.z Moll Psicky Nell Nacy Annica Vity Fanny and Ned together with Annica Jack and Nell the Increase of the Negroes afd (Isaac being Dead and the stock afd being used by the said Hutchinson and Alethea under the said Weems and Ireland) on Account of them the said Hutchinson and Alethea his wife as P their Deed to him the said Marshall recorded amongst the Provincial Records and bearing date the day of May last past If therefore the said Young Parran as Executor of the Testament and last Will of the said John Smith shall be Compelled or |
