Ex.d   This Indenture made this Sixth day of December In the Year
       of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Three Between John Dorsey
       of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Merchant of the one Part and
       James Russell of London Merch.t of the other Part   Whereas the Said John
       Dorsey upon the day of the date of these Presents is Justly Indebted to the Said
       James Russell in the Sum of Twelve hundred and forty four Pounds of Lawful Money
       of Great Britain upon the Ballance of Acc.t Stated by and between them for divers
       Sums of Money lent and Goods Sold   And Whereas for Securing the Payment
       of the Said Sum of Twelve hundred Forty four Pounds with Interest the said John
       Dorsey in and by his certain Bond or Obligation bearing ^even^ date herewith is become bound
       to the Said James Russell in the Penall Sum of Two Thousand four hundred & Eighty Eight
       Pounds with Condition there under Written for the Payment of the Said Sum of Twelve hundred
       Forty four Pounds with Interest for the Same at and after the Rate of Five Pounds P Centum
       P Annum upon the Sixth day of December In the Year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred
       and sixty six then and now next ensuing as by the Said recited Bond relation being thereunto
       had may appear      Now this Indenture      Witnesseth
       that for and in Consideration of the Sum of Twelve hundred forty four Pounds
       of Lawfull Money of Great Britain So as aforesaid due and owing by the said John
       Dorsey to the Said James Russell the Receipt whereof the said John Dorsey doth hereby
       Acknowledge and from the same and every Part thereof Doth release acquit and
       discharge the Said James Russell his heirs Executors and Administrators by these
       Presents   And for the further and better Securing the repayment thereof with Interest
       as aforesaid he the said John Dorsey   Hath Granted Bargained Sold aliened
       Released and Confirmed and by these Presents   Doth Grant Bargain Sell Alien
       Release and Confirm unto the said James Russell his heirs and Assigns All
       that Tract of Land whereof he the said John Dorsey now Dwells lying and Being
       in Ann Arundel County on Elk ridge betwixt Patapsco and Patuxent and Being
       part of a Tract of Land called Dorseys Adventure and Containing
