       the County afd the within named Edward Norwood and Acknowledged
       the within Indenture According to Act of Assembly in that Case made & provided

          Before      Reverdy Ghiselin      Will.m Steuart

                   Recorded the 16th November 1763

Ex.d      This Indenture made this sixteenth day of January in the
       Year of our Lord seventeen hundred and sixty four Between Thomas Johnson
       Junior of the City of Annapolis Attorney at Law of the one Part and Launcelot
       Jacques of the same place Merchant of the other Part   Witnesseth
       that the Said Thomas Johnson Junior in Compliance with his
       former Agreement and in Consideration of the sum of Fifty Pounds Current
       Money to him in hand paid at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these
       Presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof doth
       Acquit and Discharge the Said Lancelot Jacques his heirs Executors and
       Administrators and every of them by these presents   Hath given
       granted bargained Sold Aliened released enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these
       Presents   Doth give grant bargain sell alien release enfeoffe and Confirm
       unto him the Said Lancelot Jacques his heirs and Assigns One undivided Moiety
       of all and each and every of those three Tracts or Parcels of Land Granted to him  
       the Said Thomas Johnson Junior lying and being in Frederick County
       that is to say Green Springs containing Two hundred Acres
       more or less   Any Thing containing Eighty four Acres more
       or less and The Quarry containing thirty Acres more or less
       Together with one undivided Moiety of all houses Buildings Gardens
       Improvements Woods Under Woods Waters Water Courses Profits Comodities
       Emoluments and Appurtenances whatsoever on the said several Tracts
       or Parcels of Land being or to the same or either of them belonging or in
       any wise Appurtaining And the Revertion and Reversions Remainder
