192. the within named John Beal Howard Party to the within Deed and Acknowledged the Same to be his Act and Deed and the Land & Premisses within mentioned and thereby Granted & Sold to be the Estate Right Title and Interest of the within mentioned Robert Bishop his Heirs and Assigns for ever According to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed Jn.o Mathews Walt Tolley 8 s.d Recorded the 10.th January 1764 Exam.d This Indenture made this Eleventh Day of January in the Year of our Lord Christ seventeen hundred and sixty four Between Benjamin Beall son of Ninian Beall junior of Prince Georges County and Province of Maryland Miller of the one part and John Glassford and Company of the City of Glasgow in that part of Great Britain called Scotland Merchants of the other part Witnesseth that Whereas the Said Benjamin Beall doth owe and stands indebted unto the said John Glassford and Company in the sum of Two hundred and seventy Pounds seventeen shillings and six pence Currency in Consequence of Dealings at Bladensburg in the Province aforesaid In Consideration thereof and also of the sum of Five shillings in hand paid to the Said Benjamin Beall by the Said John Glassford and Company the receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged He the said Benjamin Beall Hath given Granted bargained and sold aliened released enfeoffed and Confirmed And by these presents Doth give grant bargain and sell alien release enfeoff and Confirm unto the said John Glassford and Company their heirs and Assigns the following Lands in Prince Georges County aforesaid to Wit part of a Tract of land called Uncles Good Will enlarged containing about Two hundred and forty three Acres being all the said Tract excepting about thirty two acres which has been sold by the said Benjamin Beall to Benoni Price which said Tract was resurveyed for the said Benjamin Beall |
