188.

       Seventeen hundred and Sixty three Personally Appeared before Us Two of his Lordships
       Justices of the Peace for Baltimore County Robert Bishop and Elizabeth Bishop Partys to
       the within Deed & acknowledged the same to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and Premises therein
       mentioned and thereby bargained & sold to be the Estate Right and Property of the within named
       John Beal Howard his heirs and Assigns for ever According to the True Intent and
       Meaning of the within Deed and at the same Time the said Elizabeth Bishop being
       by us Privately Examined out of the hearing of her said husband did acknowledge
       all her Rights of Dower in the said Lands and declared that she made the said acknowledgment
       Freely and Willingly without being Induced thereto by dears or Threats
       of her said Husband his menaces or abuse

Ex.d   This Indenture made this Fifteenth day of December in the Year
       of our Lord seventeen hundred and sixty three Between John Beal Howard
       of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland of the one part and Robert
       Bishop of the same County and Province of the other part   Witnesseth
       that the said John Beall Howard  for and in Consideration of the sum of Five shillings
       Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the Said Robert Bishop
       the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged Hath Granted Bargained and sold
       and by these presents Doth grant Bargain and sell unto the said Robert Bishop
       and his Heirs or Assigns a Certain Tract of Land Lying and being in Ann Arundel County
       on the Rock Creek of the Said County Originally Granted unto a Certain Christopher
       Cox for one hundred and Ninety Nine Acres of Land more or Less by the Name of Coxes Forest
       as also all the other Lands of the said Christopher Cox whereof he died possessed in the Province of
       Maryland or elsewhere and the remainder and remainders Rents and Profits of the said
       Premises above mentioned with their and every of their Appurtenances

             To have and To hold the said Lands and Tenements Hereditaments
       and Premises above mentioned and every Part and Parcel thereof with their &
       every of their Appurtenances unto the said Robert Bishop for his Exors Admrs
