       On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written

                      Receivd the within sum of One hundred and thirty Pounds Thirteen
       Shillings and four Pence Sterling the Consideration within mentioned 21.st December
       1763   Witness                                    Tho.s Daviss

       On the 21.st day of December in the Year of our Lord 1763 came before me the
       subscriber one his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court Thomass Daviss the
       within Grantor and acknowledged the within ^& above^ Deed according to the Form and
       Directions of the Act of Assembly in such case made & provided before

              The within Deed was passed to me in Consideration of the sum of £ 130  13  4
       Sterling lent to the Grantor                                 Daniel Dulany
                               21.st December 1763

       1763 December 26.th Received of the Honourable Daniel Dulany Esq.r
       eight Shillings Sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation
       Fine on the within Two Hundred Acres of Land by Virtue of a Commission
       from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & receiver General

                Recorded the 26.th day of December 1763

Ex.d      This Indenture made the Seventh day of November
       Anno Domini One Thousand Seven hundred and sixty three   Between
       Samuel Pottinger of Frederick County Planter of the one part and
       Samuel Child of Ann Arundel County Planter of the other part
       Witnesseth that the said Samuel Pottenger standing Legally seized
       and entituled of and in a Certain Tract or Parcel of Land called Part of
       Wickham and Pottengers Discovery lying in Frederick County aforesaid
       for and in Consideration of the sum of Twenty five pounds sterling Money
       to him in hand paid before the ensealing and delivery of these presents
       the receipt whereof the said Samuel Pottenger doth hereby Acknowledge
