Ex.d      This Indenture made this Thirtyeth day of August
       in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty three Between
       Charles Hammond Jun.r of Ann Arundel County Gent of the one Part
       and Francis Davis of Baltimore County Gent of the other Part Witnesseth
       that the said Charles Hammond for and in Consideration of the sum of Five shillings
       Currency to him in hand paid by said Francis Davis at and upon the sealing and
       Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof the said Charles doth hereby Acknowledge
       and therewith confess himself to be fully content and satisfied   He the said Charles
       hath Granted bargained and sold Enfeoffed conveged and confirmed and doth hereby
       Grant bargain and sell enfeoff convey and Confirm unto s.d Francis Davis his
       Heirs and Assigns for ever the following Parcel of Land being Part of Two
       tracts belonging unto s.d Charles and known and Called by the Names of
       Buck Bottom and the Valley of Strife lying in Baltimore County aforesaid
       on the Branches of the Great Falls of Patapsco River and which were formerly
       Surveyed for a certain Daniel Clary as Reference unto the Patents of each recorded
       in Ann Arundel Land Records in Liber BC and GS N.o 7 being had
       may appear   Beginning for the Bounds and Courses of said Parcel
       of Land so sold as afd by said Charles to said Francis at Four bounded White
       Oak Sapplings standing near the head of a spring and being the Original Bounders
       of Each of the Tracts of Land afd And running thence reverse of the given Line of a
       Parcel of the said Tract lately sold by s.d Charles to a certain Phillip Hammond
       (his Brother) and Conveyed to him by Deed prior in date thereof to these presents (as
       follows Viz) South Forty Nine Degrees West One hundred and fifty six Perches
       then North forty Degrees West Seventy Perches south fifty two degrees West fifty
       two Perches south sixty perches to the end of the East forty Perches Course of
       part of Buck Bottom afd belonging unto a certain Benj.a Clary then
       reverse of said Course of s.d Benj.a Part afd West forty perches untill it
       intersects the Eighteenth Course of the whole Tract of Buck Bottom afd
       then with the Course of s.d Land North Fifty Nine Perches to the End of
