          On the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz

       Received on the day & Year above written from the above named David Crawford the
       sum of Three hundred and forty three pounds being the Consideration above mentioned

             L S         Cecil County fs.t   Be it remembered that on the Twenty Ninth
       day of October Anno Dom 1763   came before us the Subscribers two of his Lordships the right
       Honble the Lord Propry his Justices of the Peace for the County afd the above named Eleanor
       Carroll and did Acknowledged the above Instrument of Writing to be her Act & Deed and the Lands
       & Premises therein mentioned to be the Right & Estate of the above named David Crawford
       his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true intent & meaning of the same Deed
       & the Act of Assembly in such Case made & provided

       Cæcil County
                in               fs.t   I hereby certify to all whom it doth shall or may in any
       Maryland                  manner concern that Sidney George & And.w Pearce
       Gent before & by whom the above Acknowledgment was made taken & signed were at
       the Time of making taking & signing the same & still are two of his Lordships the R H
       the Lord Propry of the Province of Maryland his Justices of the Peace for the County aforesaid
       thereunto duly & legally assigned commissioned and qualified   And that to all Acknowledgments
       before and by them so made taken & signed due faith and Credit is and ought to be
       well in Justice Court as thereout In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand
11 s.d and affixed the publick seal of the County aforesaid this 11.th day of November 1760
