162. his heirs and Assigns for ever before J Hepburn 1763 Novemb.r 15.th Received of M.r Christian Howver six shillings sterling for the use of the Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine on the within Land by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & receiver General Benj.a Beall Recorded the 15.th November 1763 Ex.d This Indenture made this Nineteenth day of November in the Year Seventeen hundred and Sixty three Between Jane Ayton of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland Widow formerly Jane Dorsey the Daughter of Samuel Dorsey late of the same County deceased of the one part and Charles Carroll Esquire Benjamin Tasker Esquire Charles Carroll son of Daniel Charles Carroll Barrister Daniel Dulany Esquire and Walter Dulany Esq.r all of the Province aforesaid of the other Part Whereas the late Right honble Charles Lord and Proprietary of Maryland by his Patent under the great seal on or about the fourteenth day of March in the year seventeen hundred and thirty three did Grant and Confirm unto a certain Henry Ayton of Ann Arundel County and Jane his Wife for and during their and both of their natural lives and after their decease to the aforesaid Jane Ayton party hereto by the name of Jane Dorsey Daughter and only Child of Samuel Dorsey in Fee Simple All that Tract or parcel of Land called Fosters Fancy lying and being in the County afores.d containing and laid out for Ninety eight acres of Land more or less And Whereas also the said Jane Party hereto afterwards intermarried with Richard Ayton son of the aforesaid Henry Ayton and the said Richard Ayton Henry Aiton and Jane his Wife are all Dead and the said Jane Aiton party hereto is seized and possessed of the Tract of Land aforesaid and every part thereof in her own demesne as of Fee Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said Jane Ayton party hereto for and in Consideration of the sum of Two hundred and Twenty five pounds sterling Money to her in hand paid by the said Charles Carroll Benjamin Tasker Charles Carroll Son of Daniel Charles Carroll Barrister |
