119. and this Deponent Severally Signed their Names as Witnesses thereto as on the Back thereof Appears And Lastly this Deponent Saith that he hath Proved the Execution of the Said Original Deed or Indenture of Lease by the Said James Wardrop and the Execution of the said Original Deed or Indenture of Release by the said James Wardrop and John Buchanan respectively by his Affidavit this day sworn before the Right Honble Sir Thomas Chitty Knight Lord Mayor of the City of London in order that the same may be Exemplified under the seal of the Office of Mayoralty of the said City and Sent to the said Province of Maryland Sworn the Twentieth day of May W.m Hippisley in the Year 1760 Before me at Guild Hall Tho Chitty May.r This Indenture of three parts made the second day of August in the Twenty Eighth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth and in the Year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fifty four Between James Wardrop of the Province of Maryland in America Merchant but at Present resident in the City of London in the Kingdom of Great Brittain of the first Part James Johnson of the City of Glasgow in North Britain Merchant of the second Part and John Buchanan of the City of London Merchant of the third Part Whereas the said James Wardrop is justly and truly Indebted to the said John Buchanan in the sum of five thousand one hundred and Eighty pounds six shillings and seven pence of Lawful Money of Great Britain upon Ballance of Accounts between them this day stated and settled and by them agreed to and signed of and Concerning divers dealings and Transactions between them had and Past in Trade & Bussiness and the Said James Wardrop is also justly and truly indebted unto the said James Johnson into the further Sum of One thousand and fifty Eight Pounds Eighteen shillings of like Money upon three Bills drawn by the said James Johnson on the said James Wardrop and by him accepted dated respectively the Twenty Ninth day of June last Past and Payable respectively to the said James Johnson or his orders for Value received one of them for three |
