118. London to Wit William Hippisley of Fish Mongers Hall London Gentleman Maketh Oath That the two sheets of Paper Marked N.o 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 signed by this Deponent and hereunto Annexed Do Contain just and true Copies of two Original Deeds or Indentures of Lease and Release the Lease bearing date th first day of August which was in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty four and made or mentioned to be made between James Wardrop of the Province of Maryland in America Merchant but at Present resident in the City of London in the Kingdom of Great Britain of the one Part and John Buchanan of the said City of London Merchant of the other part and the Release bearing date the second day of the said Month of August and made or mentioned to be made between the Said James Wardrop of the first Part James Johnson of the City of Glasgow in North Britain Merchant of the Second Part and the said John Buchanan of the Third Part And this Deponent saith that he hath duly and Carefully Examined and Compared the said Annexed Copied of Lease & release with the said Lease and Release the Lease Executed by the said James Wardrop and the Released by the said James Wardrop and John Buchanan wherewith the same do agree Word for Word According tot eh best of this Deponents Observation And this Deponent saith that on or about the said second day of August One thousand seven hundred and fifty four R 4dCs537 he this Deponent was Present and did see the said James Wardrop sign seal and at his Act and Deed in due form of Law deliver the Original Deed or Indenture of Lease herein before mentioned to and for the Uses Intents and Purposes therein Mentioned And that in Testimony of the Execution thereof John Campbell and this Deponent severally signed their Names as Witnesses thereto as on the Back thereof now appears And this Deponent saith that on or about the said second day of August he this Deponent was present and did see the said James Wardrop and John Buchanan Severally sign seal and as their several Act and Deed in due form of Law deliver the Original Deed or Indenture of Release herein before mentioned bearing date the said second day of August One thousand seven hundred and fifty four to and for the Uses Intents and Purposes therein Mentioned and that in Testimony of the Execution thereof John Campbell and |
