Ex.d      This Indenture made the Eighth day of April
       in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Fifty
       seven Between John Cromwell of Ann Arundle County in the
       Province of Maryland Gentleman of the one Part and Charles
       Croxall of Baltimore County in the Province aforesaid Gentleman
       of the Other Part Witnesseth That the said John Cromwell
       for and in Consideration of the Sum of Three hundred and
       thirty one Pounds Ten Shillings Current Money to him in
       Hand by the Said Charles Croxall all paid The Receipt
       whereof he the Said John Cromwell doth hereby acknowledge
       and himself to be therewith fully Satisfied Contented and
       Paid Hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeofed
       and Confirmed and by these Presents doth Give Grant
       Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffed and Confirm unto him
       the Said Charles Croxall his Heirs and Assigns for ever
       all the three following mentioned Tracts or Parcels of Land
       Lying and being in Baltimore County aforesaid on Hunting
       Ridge and contiguous to each other Butted and bounded
       According to their Several antient metes and bounds as mentioned
       and expressed in the Several Certificates and Patents of the Same
       Lands To wit Cordwainers Hall originally on the Tenth day of
       May 1695 granted unto a certain Nicholas Fitzsimmonds for three
       hundred Acres more or less Cromwells Range originally on the
       Tenth Day of December 1695 granted unto a Certain Richard
       Cromwell for Two hundred Acres more or less and Maidens
       Dairy originally on the Tenth Day of March 1695 granted
       unto a Certain Thomas Hooker for two hundred and forty
       Acres More or less as Per the Several grants of the Said
       Lands Recorded in His Lordships Land Office at Annapolis
