59) under the Provisos and agreements herein after Mentioned Expressed and Declared and for Divers other Good and Valuable Causes and Considerations him thereunto Moving He the Said William Lock Weems hath granted bargained sold aliened released and Confirmed and by these Presents doth grant bargain sell alien release and Confirm unto the said Nathaniel Chapman and to his heirs for ever all that Tract or parcel of Land Containing five hundred and thirty four Acres being One Moiety of a Tract of One thousand and Sixty Nine Acres Called Billingsley situate Lying and being in Prince Georges County in the Fork of Patuxent River Bounded as follows Viz.t Beginning at a bounded Hicory standing on the North branch of the said River and runing thence North West three hundred and eighty Perches thence South West one hundred and fourteen Perches, thence South East sixty nine perches, thence South West to the Western branch of the said River thence Down with the said Branch til a line Drawn to the Begining Tree including and Containing the full Quantity of five hundred and thirty four Acres with all the Appurtenances thereunto belonging also one other Tract or parcel of Land being part of a Tract Called Magruder situate lying and being on the North Side of the River Petuxent opposite to Buzzards Island in Calvert County as may appear by the Records of the said County also the following mentioned slaves, to wit Negro Jeffery Tom Jeffery Sam and Sampson Male slaves Betty Hannah (Morea) |
