53) Opposite to Buzzards Island in Calvert County as may more fully appear by the Records of the Said County also the following mentioned Slaves to wit Negroes Jeffery Tom Jeffery Sam and Sampson Male Slaves, Betty Hannah Morea Jane and Jenny Females and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders together with the Rents and Recpts of the above mentioned Lands Slaves and Premisses and of every Part and Parcell thereof To have and to Hold the said Lands and slaves and all and singular the Premisses herein mentioned and Intended to be hereby Bargained and sold with their and every of their appurtenances unto the said Nathaniel Chapman his Executors Adm.rs & assigns from the day before the Date hereof for and during the Term of one whole year from Thence next ensuing and fully to be Compleat and ended Yeilding and Paying therefore the Rent of One pepper Corn at the Tract of S.t Michael the Archangel only if the Same be Lawfully demanded to the Intent that by Virtue of these Presents and of the Statute for Transferring uses into Possession of the Premisses and be enabled to accept a grant and Release of the Reversion and Inheritance thereof to him and his heirs In Witness whereof the Said William Lock Weems hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year first above Written Sealed and Delivered W.m Lock Weems Seal In the Presence of (Eliz.a) |
