51) against all Persons Claiming any Right by from or under him the Said Edward Riston In Wittness whereof he hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the Day and Year first above Written Signed Sealed and Dilevered Edward Riston Seal in Presence of Jn.o Brice William Beall Jun.r On the Back Side of the aforegoing Indenture was thus indorsed Viz.t November the 16.th 1756 Received of Edward Sprigg Thirty Pounds Currency full Consideration for the within mentioned Land and Premisses Witness Edward Riston John Brice £30 On the 16 day of Nov.r 1756 Edward Riston acknowledged the within Land and Premisses to be the Right Title and Interest of the within named Edward Sprigg his Heirs and assigns for ever at the Same time came Mary Riston Wife of the Said Edward Riston and being Privately Examined declared that she acknowledged her Right of Dower to the said Land and Premisses according to the Directions of an Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided Before John Brice December the 8.th 1756 Receved of M.r Edward Sprigg one Shilling and two Pence half Penny Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned thirty Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Edw.d Lloyd Esq.r his Lordships agent and Recever General Rich.d Dorsey 5 1/2 Recorded December 10.th 1756 Fees Charged so Far for the Year 1756 |
