       Shillings & ten pence Curr.t money To him in hand Paid by the
       said David Ross the Receipt whereof the said Joseph Miles doth hereby
       Confess and Acknowledge he the said Joseph Miles hath granted Bargained
       and Sold aleind and Confirmed by these presents Doth grant Bargain
       and Sell alein and Confirm unto the said David Ross his heirs and
       Assigns for ever all that Tract and Parcell of Land Called Miles
       Pleasure adjoining to a Tract Called Giles Portion whereon he
       now lives Containing by Estimation one hundred and Sixty
       two acres more or less being formerly part of two Tracts but since
       Resurveyed lying and being in Frederick County together with all
       the Houses Buildings Orchards Pastures Meadows and
       Appurtenances tot eh same belonging or in any wise appertaining
       and also the Reversion and Reversions Remainder & Remainders
       Rents and Services of the said Land and Premisses and every
       Part ^& Parcel^ thereof and all the Estate Right Title Interest claim &
       demand whatsoever of him the said Joseph Miles of in and to
       the said Premisses and every Part and Parcell thereof with the
       Appurtenances above mentioned To have & to hold
       the aforesaid Land with all & Singular the Appurtenances
       aforesaid Bargained and sold and every Part & parcell
       thereof with their & every of their Appurtenances unto the
       said David Ross his heirs Executors Administrators and
       assigns for ever and the said Joseph Miles the Land and
       Premisses afforesaid against him and his heirs and against
       all and every other Person or Persons whatsoever Shall and will
       hereby for ever warrant and defend Provided always & it is
       agreed by and between all the Parties to these Presents that
       if the said Joseph Miles his heirs and assigns do shall
       well and truly Pay or Cause to be paid unto the said
       David Ross his heirs Exec.rs Admines.rs and Assigns the
