Ex.d This Indenture made this Second day of November in the year of our
       Lord one thousand Seven hundred & fifty Eight between John Griffith of Calvert
       County Planter of the one Part & Lewis Griffith of the said County of the
       other Part Witnesseth that for and in Consideration of thirty five pounds
       Current Money of Maryland in hand Paid the Receipt whereof the said
       John Griffith Doth Acknowledge hath Demised bargained & sold unto the
       said Lewis Griffith his heirs and assigns for Ever part of a Tract of
       Land Lying in Annarundell County Called Chandlers Grove beginning
       in the Middle of the second Line of the hole Tract Called Chandlers
       Grove neige the head of a Branch Runing East one hundred perches
       to the Land of Lewis Lewin Called Madestone then with the said Land
       Eighty Perches to the Land Called Sanctley now in the Persesion of
       the Chewes thence with the said Land west one hundred perches to
       the North west Cornner tree Standing in the Line of Lewis Griffith
       Land Called welch pool then South to the first begining being Lade
       out for fifty Acres of Land more or Less together with all & singular
       the Profits and advantages thereunto belonging for ever against me y.e
       Said John Griffith my heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns &
       from all manner of person or persons whatsoever in Testimony
       whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal the Day and year above
       Written                                                                     his
       Signed Sealed & Delivered                                 John I Griffith   seal
       In the Presents of us                                                mark

                   Lewis Lewin

       On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus indorsed to wit

       1758 Nov.r 2.d Rec.d of Lewis Griffith thirty five pounds Current money
       being the Purchase Money for the within fifty Acres of Land afs
