       1758 Nov.r 2.d Then Came the within mentioned John Griffith

       And acknowledged the within Deed with the land within Specified
       to be the Right of the within mentioned Lewis Griffith his heirs
       and assigns for Ever and at the same time Came Ann Griffith
       wife of the said John Griffith and she being Examined as the
       Law Directs did freely give up all her Right Title & Interest
       of and to the said fifty Acres of Land as within Specified &
       Desired the same might be Recorded for the use of the within
       mentioned         Lewis Griffith      Acknowledged before

       Nov.r 3.d 1758  Received of M.r Lewis Griffith one Shilling
       Sterling for his Lordships (it being the Alienation fine
4 1/2 sid on the within mentioned fifty Acres of Land) by Virtue
        of a Commission from Edward Loyd Esq.r his Lordships
        agent and Receiver General

Clk  in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty Eight Between Francis
Ex.d Key of Cecil County Gentleman and Ann Arnold his wife one of the Daughters
       of John Ross of the City of Annapolis Esquire of the first part Upton Scott of the
       City of Annapolis Chirurgeon and Elizabeth his wife another of the Daughters
       of the said John Ross of the Second part and the said John Ross of the City of
       Annapolis Esquire of the third part Whereas the said John Ross by
       Indenture bearing date the twenty third Day of July in the Year of our Lord
       seventeen Hundred and fifty five made or mentioned to be made between the said
       John Ross by the name of John Ross of the City of Annapolis Esquire of the one
       part and the af.d Francis Key and Ann Arnold by the name of Francis Key and
       Ann Arnold Key Eldest Daughter of the said John Ross of the other part for and in
       Consideration of the Natural Life Love & Affection which he the said John Ross
