237) Ex.d Maryland To Wit This Indenture Tripartite made on the twenty Eight day of April in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Fifty Eight Between James Johnson of the City of Annapolis Merchant of the one Part Thomas Brouster of Charles County Attorney at Law on the other part and George Maxwell of Charles County Merchant of the third part Witnesseth That the said James Johnson and Thomas Brouster for and in Consideration of the sum of five shillings Sterling to each of them in hand paid by the said George Maxwell the Receipt whereof they the Said James Johnson and Thomas Brouster do hereby acknowledge and thereof him the said Sterling to each of them in hand paid by the said George Maxwell the Receipt whereof they the Said James Johnson and Thomas Brouster do hereby acknowledge and thereof him the said George Maxwell do acquit and discharge Have granted Bargained sold released and Assigned and by these Presents Do fully Clearly and absolutely Bargain release Sell and Assign unto him the Said George Maxwell all that Tract or parcel of Land Commonly called and known by the name of Harwoods Lyon lying and being in Talbot County and on the East Side of a River Called Wye River and heretofore granted unto Thomas Harwood of London Mariner on the twelfth day of February Sixteen Hundred and Sixty and three Beginning at a marked Oak Standing on a point over against the upper End of the Island bearing East from the said Island and ^Running for breadth^ South East up a Creek called Harwoods Creek Two hundred Perches to a Marked Oak standing at the Turning point of the Said Creek and with a line drawn up the North East branch of the said Creek three hundred and twenty Perches to a marked Oak standing near the head of the said branch and from |
