236) name to the Receipt endorsed on the within Deed for the Sum of ten Shillings Current Money being the Consideration Money therein Mentioned and that they respectively subscribed their names as Witnesses thereto John Brice 19.th April 1758 Then Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices for the Provincial Court the within named Robert Boone and acknowledged the within Instrument to be his Act and Deed for the uses within Mentioned and that the within granted Land and Premisses were the Right and Estate of him the Said Humphry Boone according to the true Intent and meaning of the within Writing and Elizabeth the Wife of the aforesaid Robert Boone being examined apart from ^and^ out of the hearing of her Husband did Acknowledge the within Mentioned Land to be the Right and Estate of him the Said Humphry Boone and did further declare that she did by this Acknowledgement release and did thereby intend to release all her Right and Title of Dower to the within Premisses and that she made this Acknowledgement of her own free will and Consent without any Compulsion or threats from her said Husband or for fear of his Displeasure Jn.o Brice 11 1/2 sides Recorded 21.st April 1758 |
