21) Hutton his heirs Executors and Administrators the aforesaid Parcells of Land and Premisses and the three Negroe Slaves aforesaid against the Lawfull Claim or Demand of him or them or any Person whatsoever Claiming or Pretending to Claim the Said Land & Negroes to him the said Charles Graham his heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns will Warrant ^and^ for ever Defend Provided always and it is the true intent and meaning of these Presents that if the said Joseph Hutton his Executors or Administrators do & shall well & Truly ^Pay^ or Cause to be paid unto the Said Charles Graham his Executors Administrators or Assigns the aforesaid sum of one Hundred & five Pound Sterling with Lawfull Interest for the same ^at^ or upon the twenty fifth Day of December which shall be in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven Hundred and sixty then the foregoing Deed and every Clause and Part thereof to be utterly void and of no ^none^ Effect otherways to be & remain in full force and Virtue In Witness whereof the aforesaid Joseph Hutton Party to these Presents hath hereunto put his hand & affixed his seal the Day and year first above within Sealed & Delivered In Joseph Hutton Seal the Presents of Alex.r Tymmer W.m Digges Jun.r One the Back of the aforegoing Mortgage was Thus indorsed Viz.t Received of Charles Graham the sum of one Hundred and five Pounds Sterling being the Consideration money within mentioned this first Day of October 1756 Witness Joseph Hutton William Digges Jun.r (Maryland) |
