       the said Arthur Rigby and his Heirs & Assigns shall Peaceably and Quietly Possess &
       Enjoy the said Bargained Premisses with the Appurtenances without any let Barr
       Molestation or hindrance of him the said William Wintersell or his Heirs or any other
       Persons whatsoever Claiming any Right by from or under him them or any of them
       Claiming any manner of Estate in the afs.d Bargained Premisses and that the said
       William Wintersell & his Heirs shall and will Warrant and for Ever Defend
       the Premisses above Bargained unto him the said Arthur Rigby his Heirs and
       Assigns for Ever In Witness whereof the abovenamed William Wintersell hath
       to these Presents set his Hand and fixed his Seal the day and Year first above

       Certifie that on the 14.th day of February Anno Dom One Thousand Seven
       Hundred and forty nine the within named William Wintersell did acknowledge
       the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and
       Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right of Arthur Rigby

       Reced of Arthur Rigby ^the Sum of^ One Hundred Pound Current Money of Maryland it being the
       Purchase Money of the within Bargained Premisses Rec.d

       March the 14.th 1749  Received of the within named Arthur Rigby Seventeen Shillings
       and ten Pence Sterling for his Lordships use (being the Alienation fine on the
10   within mentioned four Hundred and forty five Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission
       from Benjamin Tasker Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and receiver General

Ex.d Know all Men by these Presents That We William Tower and Brian Philpot of London
       Merchants have made Ordained and Constituted and by these Presents Do make Ordain and
       Constitute M.r John Gassaway of South River in Maryland our True and Lawfull Attorney
       Giving and by these Presents Granting unto our said Attorney full Power and Lawfully Authority
       for Us and in our Names and to our Use to Ask Demand Levy Sue for and by all Lawfull
       ways and means to recover and receive of and from all and every Person and Persons of
       what Degree or Quality so ever Inhabiting in the Province of Maryland whom it shall
       or may Concern all such Sum and Sums of Money Goods Wares Merchandizes Debts
       Effects Estate and things whatsoever which they or any of them now do or shall hereafter
       owe or stand Indebted or have in his their or any of their hands Custody or Possession
       to Us the said Constituants due owing or belonging or in any wise appertaining
