       whether by Bond Note Bill Book Debt Account Consignment or for or by what other
       Reason or Means so ever nothing Excepted or Reserved and to that end with any Person or
       Persons of what Degree or Quality so ever Inhabiting in the Province of Maryland afores.d
       whom it shall or may Concern to Account and to View State Settle and Adjust all Accounts
       and the Ballance thereof to receive upon Recoveries and Receipts to give one or more Acquittances
       or other Sufficient discharges in due form of Law And in Case need shall be to appear
       before all Lords Judges and Justices in any Court or Courts there to Answer defend and reply
       in all matters and Causes touching or concerning the Premisses to do say pursue Implead
       Seize Sequester Attach Imprison and to Condemn and out of Prison again to deliver Also to
       Compound Conclude and Agree by Arbitration or otherwise as our said Attorney shall think
       fit and generally in the Premisses and all others the Affairs of Us the said Constituants to
       do perform and Execute all and whatsoever shall be requisite and necessary in as full and
       ample manner to all Intents Constructions and Purposes as We ourselves might or could
       do if Personally present And that altho the Cause should require more Ample or Especial
       Power than is herein before particularly expressed with Power to Substitute one or more
       Attorneys under him with like or limitted Power and the same again to revoke and We
       do hereby Promise to stand to and hold for good and Valid all and whatsoever our said
       Attorney or his Substitutes shall Lawfully do or cause to be done in or about the Premisses
       ^by Virtue of these Presents^ In Witness whereof We have hereunto set our hands and Seals the twenty fifth day of August
       in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Seven hundred and forty nine

                                           To which aforegoing Power of Attorney was Annexed the following
       Charles Grahame          Depositions (Viz.t)

       On the twenty first day of February Anno Dom 1748 before me the Subscriber one of his
       Lordships Provincial Justices                  Personally appeared Michael Hubbert the Subscribing
       Witness to the aforegoing Power of Attorney and made Oath on the holy Evangelists of Almighty
       God that he was present and did see William Torver Brian Philpot Sign Seal and as
       their Act and ^Deed^ deliver the aforegoing Power of Attorney to and for the several Uses and
       Purposes therein mentioned                                                                     Jn.o Brice

       On the twenty ninth day of August 1750 before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial
7 1/2 Justices Personally appeared Charles Grahame the Subscribing Witness to the aforegoing
       Power of Attorney and made Oath on the holy Evangelists of Almighty God that he was
       present and did see William Torver and Brian Philpot Sign Seal and as their Act and
       Deed deliver the same to and for the several Uses and Purposes therein mentioned
