701 Consideration of the sum of One hundred pounds sterling money of Great Britain to him in hand paid by the said Henry Oneal Welsh before the Sealing and Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof the said Richard Welsh doth hereby Acknowledge hath granted Bargained sold aliened Released and Confirmed and by these presents he the said Richard Welsh doth for himself and his heirs give grant Bargain sell Alien Release and Confirm unto him the said Henry Oneal Welsh his heirs and assigns for Ever all the Right Title Interest Property Claim and Demand Whatsoever of him the said Richard Welsh his heirs and assigns of in or to the said undevided five hundred Acres of Land lying in Prince Georges County afs.d being part of a Tract of land called Welshs Discovery and containing in the whole six hundred acres more or less as by patent dated May twentieth seventeen hundred and twenty three may more at large Appear togeather with the Premisses And Appurtenances to the said five hundred Acres or Land into any part or parcel thereof belonging or in any wise Appertaining To have and to hold the afs.d Five hundred Acres of Land be the same more or less with the Premisses and appurtenances thereunto or to any part peice or parcell thereof belonging or in any wise appertaining hereby bargained and sold or meant mentioned or intended so to be unto the said Henry Oneal Welsh his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Henry Oneal Welsh his Heirs and assigns for ever and to and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever And the aforesaid Richard Welsh doth hereby for himself his Heirs Exr.s and Administrators Covenant promise grant and Agree to and with the said Henry Oneal Welsh his heirs and assigns in manner following (that is to say) The he the said Richard Welsh hath not at any time heretofore made done committed or Wittingly or Willingly suffered any Act ^matter^ or thing whatsoever whereby or by means whereof the afs.d piece or parcel of Land and premisses or any part thereof containing as afs.d five hundred Acres more or less hereby bargained and sold or intended so to be with the appurtenances or any part piece or parcell of them is to be with the Burthened or Incumbered in Title Charge Estate or Otherwise howsoever and that for and notwithstanding such act matter or thing he the said Richard Welsh now hath in himself good Right full power and Lawfull and Absolute Authority to grant bargain and sell the afs.d piece or parcell of Land and premisses hereby bargained and sold or intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Henry Oneal Welsh his heirs and assigns in Manner afs.d In Witness whereof the parties to these presents have interchangeably set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above written Richard Welsh seal signed sealed and Delivered in ^the^ presence of us Jn.o Welsh Jn.o Darnell |
