700 Lands houses Rents Debts or others foresaid or other way Disposing thereof upon such Terms and Conditions as the said M.r John Rait shall think fit Giving and by these ^Presents^ Granting unto my said Attorney My full and Absolute Power in the Premises Ratifying and holding firm all and Whatsoever my said Attorney shall Lawfully do or Cause to be Done By virtue of these Presents In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett My hand and seal the Twenty seventh day of March in Twenty Ninth Year of the Reign of our Soveraign Lord George the Second over Great Brittain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith And in the year of our Lord 1756 Jeane Cruckshank seal Signed Sealed and Delivered being first Duely stamped in the Presents of John Lickly Henry Lickly Maryland fs.t June 23.d 1756 Then came before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court John Lickly and made Oath on the holy Evangels of Almighty God (he being one of the therefore Within subcribing Witnesses) that he saw the within named Jane Cruckshank sign seal and Deliver the within power of attorney as her Act and Deed and likewise that Henry Lickly the other subcribing witness signed his Name as a Witness to the same power of Attorney within him 5 1/2 sides Recorded June 23.d 1756 Geo Steuart paid 1 shl Maryland fs.t Exam.d This Indenture made this forth Day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty five Between Richard Welsh (son of John Welsh late of Ann Arundell County in the province aforesaid Gentleman Deceased) of the one part and Henry Oneal Welsh one other son of the said John Welsh of the other part whereas the said John Welsh by his last Will and Testament made in Writing duly proved and remaining in the Prerogative Office of the said Province did give Devise and Bequeath unto the afs.d Henry Oneal and Richard & their Heirs to be equally divided between them Five hundred Acres of Land lying in Prince Georges County in the Province afs.d being part of a Tract of Land called Welsh's Discovery the whole Tract Containing six hundred acres more or less (as by patent dated the twentieth Day of May seventeen hundred and twenty three Referance thereto being had may more at Large appear Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said Richard Welsh for and in Consideration |
