x.d         This Indenture made the seventeenth day of April in the
       year of our Lord seventeen hundred and fifty six Between Lancelot
       Jacques of the City of Annapolis in the Province of Maryland Gentleman of
       the one part and the Honourable Benedict Calvert of the same place Esq
       of the other part Witnesseth that the said Lancelot Jacques as well for &
       in Consideration of the sum of five shillings Current Money of the said Province
       to him in hand paid by the said Benedict Calvert at or before the
       Sealing and Delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
       as for divers other good Causes and Considerations him the said
       Lancelot Jacques hereunto especially mooving Hath granted bargained
       and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto
       the said Benedict Calvert his Executors Administrators and assigns All
       that Capitall Messuage or Tenement and two Lotts of Land whereof or on
       part whereof the aforesaid Messuage or Tenement now stands and now
       in the Possession of the said Lancellot Jacques togeather with all stables
       Barns Coach Houses Chair Houses Granaries and other Edifices and
       Buildings Gardens Orchards and appurtenances to the said Messuage
       belonging in any wise appertaining or with the same usually occupied
       and enjoyed And also all those fifteen Lotts of Land Called the Banquetting
       Hill consisting of part of the Town pasture and a parcell of Land called
       Nicholsons Vineyard all which Messuage or Tenement & two Lotts of
       Land & fifteen Lotts of Land called Nicholsons Vineyard and other the
       Premises are situate lying and being in the City of Annapolis afs.d And also
       all that Tract or parcel of Land situate lying and being in Ann Arundell County
       in the Province aforesaid commonly called and known by the name of
       Anglins Discovery containing sixty Acres of Land more or less And
       also all those several Tracts or Parcels of Land situate lying and being in
       Prince Georges County in the Province aforesaid and known by the respective
       Names and Quantities following that is to say Griffiths Purchase
       Containing one hundred & sixty five acres of Land more or Less Cuckolds
       Delight containing eighty six Acres of Land more or less Hoskins Folly
       five hundred & four Acres of Land more or less Hogyard containing One
       hundred and twenty five Acres of Land more or less No Name containing one
       hundred and fifty Acres of Land more or less Gleanings containing fifty three
       Acres of Land more or less Letchworth containing one hundred and forty five
       Acres of Land more or less and one Lott in Upper Marlborough in Prince
