647) his heirs and Assigns for ever and to no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever and the said Edward Botiler for himself his heirs Exr.s and adm.rs Covenant Promise Grant and agree to and with the said Thomas Litchworth his heirs and assigns that he said Edward Botiler and his heirs the said Tract of Land Called Buttington and Premises aforesaid with the appurtenances unto the said Thomas Litchworth his heirs and Assigns for ever from and against the said Edward Botiler & his heirs and from and against all other persons whatsoever will well and truly warrant and for ever hereafter Defend and the said Edward Botiler for himself and his heirs doth hereby Further Covenat Promise Grant and agree to and with the said Thomas Litchworth his heirs and assigns and every of them that he the said Edward Botiler and his heirs shall and will from time to Time and at all times Hereafter at the Reasonable Request and at the Cost and Charges in the Law of the said Thomas Litchworth his Heirs and assigns make do suffer and execute or Cause and Procure to made done suffered and executed all and every such Further and other Lawfull Acts Deeds Conveyances and assurences whatsoever for the Better Conveying and assuring the Hereby Bargained and sold Land and Premises unto the said Thomas Litchworth his heirs and assigns be it by Acknowledgment or Inrolement or by any other ways and means as by his or their Council Learned in the Law shall be reasonably Advised or Required In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto affixed my hand and seal the day and year first above Written E.d Botiler seal Sealed and Delivered In the presence of Jn.o Hawkins Jun.r John Stone Hawkins on the Back of the foregoing Deed was thus endorsd Feb.ry 19.th 1756 then received of M.r Thomas Litchworth the Quantity of Eight Thousand pounds of Crop Tobacco and twenty five pounds sterling money of Great Britain Witness E.d Botiler Jn.o Hawkins Jun.r John Stone Hawkins Maryland fs.t Be it Remembered that on the twentieth day of February in the year of our Lord seventeen hundred & fifty six personally appeared E.d Botiler before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of the province afd and acknowledged the within deed as his Act and Deed and the part of a Tract of Land called Buttington and premisses to be the Property of Tho.s Litchworth his heirs and assigns forever agreeable to the act of assembly in such case made and provided acknowledged before Jn.o Brice Febry the 23 1756 Recd of M.r Tho.s Litchworth one shilling and six pence sterling for his Lordships it being the alieantion fine on the within mentioned seventy five acres of Land by virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships agent & Recever General Ric.d Dorsey Recorded February 23.d 1756 10 1/2 sides |
