       This Indenture made the twelfth day of November in the Year of our Lord one
       thousand seven hundred and fifty five Between Lewis Duvall of Prince Georges County
       Planter in the Province of Maryland of the one Part and Richard Snowden of Ann
       Arundell County and Province aforesaid Iron Master of the Other Part Witnesseth
       that the said Lewis Duvall for and in Consideration of the sum of sixty five pounds
       Ten shillings sterling money of Great Brittain to him the said Lewis Duvall by the
       said Richard Snowden in hand the Receipt of which said sum of money is hereby
       Acknowledged hath given Granted Bargained Sold and delivered and by these Presents
       for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators he the said Lewis Duvall doth
       give grant Bargain sell and deliver unto the said Richard Snowden all that Tract
       of Land called Taylors Range lying and being in Prince Georges County Containing
       and laid out for two hundred Acres more or less and it being the now dwelling
       Plantation of the aforesaid Lewis Duvall To have and to hold the aforesaid Tract or
       Parcell of Land with the Premisses and Appurtenances thereunto belonging or any
       wise Appertaining Together unto him the said Richard Snowden his heirs and
       Assigns forever to his own Proper Use and behoof and to no other use intent or
       Purpose whatsoever and the said Lewis Duvall for himself his heirs Executors
       and Administrators Covenant and Agree to and with the said Richard Snowden his
       heirs Executors and Administrators or Assigns by these Presents that he the said
       Lewis Duvall The aforesaid Tract or Parcell of Land and Premisses aforesaid
       unto him the said Richard Snowden and to his heirs and Assigns from and against
       him the said Lewis Duvall and from and against all manner of Persons
       Whatsoever shall ^and will^ forever Warrant and defend by these Presents Provided
       Alwise and it is the true Intent and meaning these presents that If the said Lewis
       Duvall his heirs Executors and ^or^ Administrators shall well and truly pay or
       Cause to be paid unto the said Richard Snowden the aforesaid sum of sixty five
       pounds ten shillings sterling money at or upon the tenth day of November
       which shall happen in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and
       fifty   With legal Interest for the same from the date hereof and all the Charge
       of Recording this Indenture without fraud or further Delay then the above
       Indenture is to be Void Otherwise to be and Remain in full force and Virtue in

       On the back of the foregoing Indenture was thus Wrote to Wit

       Ann Arundell County fs.t   Then Came the within Mentioned Lewis Duvall before me
       Nov.r 12.th 1755              the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices for
       the County aforesaid and acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and Deed According
       to an Act of Assembly in that Case made and Provided
