       suit trouble or Desturbance of them the said John Philpott and John Hutchinson their heirs
       or Assigns or of any Other Person or Persons Whatsoever Claiming any manner of Right
       Title or Interest from the said John Philpott and John Hutchinson their Heirs and Assigns
       In Witness whereof the said Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson have hereunto
       set their Hands and Seals the day and year afore Written

       On the Back of the foregoing Deed was thus Written to Wit

       Know all Men by these Presents that we Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph
       Janson of London Merchants surviving Assignees of John Philpott and John Hutchinson
       late of London Merchants Bankrupts have made Ordained Constituted and appointed
       and by these Presents do make Ordain Constitute and appoint Brian Philpot of
       Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Merchant our true and Lawful Attorney
       for us and in our stead to Acknowledge the within Writing to be our Act and Deed
       and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the
       within mentioned Lewis Duvall his Heirs and Assigns for ever which said
       Acknowledgment after the same shall be made according to the directions of an
       Act of Assembly of Maryland in such Cases made and provided we the said
       Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson do promise by these presents shall be as
       Effectual in Law to all Intents and Purposes as if we the said Bartholomew
       Pomeroy and Joseph Janson had acknowledged the same in Person In Witness
       Whereof we have hereunto set our Hands and seals the eighth Day of May
       One thousand seven hundred and fifty five

       Be it Remembered that on the fifth day of September in the Year of Our Lord seventeen hundred
       and fifty five before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices Personally Appeared
       Benjamin North and Hubbard Brewer two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the within Instrument
       of Writing and made Oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that they severally saw the within
       Named Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson Sign Seal & as their and each of their Act and Acts
       Deed and Deeds deliver the same to and for the uses and Purposes therein mentioned and that Adam
       Hill the other subscribing Witness was also Present and Subscribed his Name as a Witness in
       their Presence
