608 On the back of the foregoing were the following Receipts Viz.t 1755 September 12.th Received of the within named John Worthington the Sum of Fifty Pounds Sterling Money being the within Consideration money I say Rec.d in full by me Aaron Rawlings Witness Jn.o Brice Benj.a Beall September 29.th 1755 Received of M.r John Worthington six Shillings and ten Pence Sterling for his Lordships Use (it being the Alienation fine on the mentioned one hundred and seventy Acres of Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General 9 Recorded 6.th Oct.r 1755 Rich.d Dorsey Ex.d This Indenture made this twenty fifty day of September in the Year Year of our Lord God seventeen hundred and fifty five Between Seth Hyatt of Frederick County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one Part and John Waters Jun.r of Prince Georges County in the Province aforesaid Planter of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Seth Hyatt for and in Consideration of Thirty five Pounds Sterling money of England by the said John Waters Jun.r to the said Seth Hyatt in Hand paid before the Ensealing and delivery of these Presents hath Granted Bargained sold set over and Confirmed and by these Presents doth Grant Bargain sell set over and Confirm unto the said John Waters Jun.r his heirs and assigns for ever a certain Part of a Tract or Parcell of Land called Madens fancey Lying in Frederick County aforesaid Beginning at a bounded White Oak Tree standing near the mouth of the Isenglass Branch which tree is the Original Boundary of the aforesaid Land and Running South forty degrees West one hundred Perches and from thence to Contain one hundred and fifty Acres of Land out of the aforesaid Tract together with all and Singular the Edifices Orchards Improvements Benefits and Advantages whatsoever to the same belonging or in any Wise thereto Appertaining To have and to hold the Land and Premisses aforesaid and every Part and Parcel thereof with their and every of their Appurtenances unto the said John Waters Jun.r his heirs and Assigns forever and to no other Use Intent or Purpose whatsoever and the said Seth Hyatt for himself his heirs Executors and Assigns Doth Covenant Promise Grant and Agree to and with the said John Waters Jun.r his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns that he the said Seth Hyatt his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns shall and will at (the) |
