607 North eighty eight degrees East forty one perches and then with a Straight line to the Beginning Containing and laid out for one hundred and seventy Acres of Land more or less together with all and Singular the Premisses and Appurtenances thereunto belonging To have and to hold the said Tract or Parcell of Land called Wiltshire in form aforesaid particularly described with all and Singular the Premisses and Appurtenances thereunto or to any Part or Parcell thereof belonging unto him the said John Worthington his heirs and Assigns forever and to and for no other use intent or Purpose whatsoever And the said Aaron Rawlings for himself his heirs Ex.rs and Administrators Covenants Promises Grants and Agrees to and with the said John Worthington his Heirs Ex.rs and Administrators and Assigns That he the sid Aaron Rawlings his Heirs Ex.rs and Administrators the aforesaid Tract or Parcel of Land and the Premisses with the Appurtenances thereunto or to any Part thereof belonging in form aforesaid Expressed and described unto him the said John Worthington his heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs against all manner of Person or Persons Claims & Incumberances whatsoever shall and will Warrant and forever hereafter Defend by these Presents In Witness whereof the said Aaron Rawlings hath hereunto set his hand and Affixed his Seal the Day and Year above Written Aaron Rawlings Seal Signed Sealed & Delivered in Presence of Jn.o Brice Benj.a Beall On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Indorsed Viz.t 1755 September 12.th Then came the within named Aaron Rawlings before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses within mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named John Worthington his heirs and Assigns according to the true Intent and meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such in such Cases made and Provided At the same time came Sophia the Wife of the said Aaron Rawlings and being by me Privately examined from and out of the hearing of her said Husband declared that she freely and Voluntarily Released all her Right and Title of Dower to the within mentioned Land and Premisses and Premisses of her own free and Voluntary Consent without being compelled thereto by fear threats or ill usage from her said Husband or for fear of his Displeasure Acknowledged before Jn.o Brice |
