       and all and Singular other Other the premisses herein Before mentioned
       and Intended to be Hereby Granted With Their and Every of their Appurtenances
       unto the said Basil Dorsey his Heirs and Assigne for Ever to the only
       Use and Behoof of him the said Basil Dorsey his Heirs and Assigns and
       the said William Purdy for himself and his heirs the said Tract or Parcell
       of Land and all and Singular there the premisses with their and Every
       of their Appurtenances unto him the said Basil Dorsey his Heirs &
       Assigns ^against him the said William Purdy his heirs & assigns^ and all persons Claiming by from or under him or any of
       them Shall and Will Warrant and for Ever Defend In Witness whereof
       the Parties to these presents have hereunto Interchangebly Sett their
       hands and Seals the Day and year first above Written

                               On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t

       Came Before me The Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the
       Provincial Court the Within Name William Purdy and Acknowledged
       the Within Deed to be his Act and Deed the Land and premisses Within
       Mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the Within Named Basil
       Dorsey and his Heirs and at the same time came Deborah The Wife
       of the said William Purdy Who being privately Examined out of the
       Hearing of her said Husband and Declared that she Gave up all her
       Right of Dower To the said Land and Premisses and that she Acknowledged
       the same to be the Right and Estate of the Aforesaid Basil Dorsey his Heirs
       and Assigns for Ever That she made the same Acknowledgement Willingly
       and freely and without Being Induced thereto by fears or Threats of her said
       Husband or for fear of his Displeasure According to the True Interest &
       Meaning of the Within Deed and the Act of Assembly in Such Cases
       Made and Provided
   
                             A Acknowledged Before me this first Day of September 1755

       Received of M.r Basil Dorsey the sum of fifty Two pounds Sterling Money it being in full
       for the Consideration of the Lands and premisses within Mentioned this first Day of Sept.r 1755

                                                            Sept.r the 8.th 1755 Rec.d of M.r Basil Dorsey Six Shillings
       Charles Carroll William Purdy    and Eleven pence sterling for him Lordships use (it being the
       Henry Howard                           Alienation fine on the Within mentioned Land) by Virtue of a
                                                         Comm.n from Edw.d Loyd Esq.r his said Lordships Agent & receiver General
