          Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of
       Maryland Edward Dorsey of Annapolis and Joseph Cowman who by Virtue of the Power of
       Attorney from the within named Jonathan Forward bearing date the twenty first Day of
       December last in the name of the said Jonathan Forward acknowledged the within Deed to be
       the Act and Deed of the within named Jonathan Forward and the Lands and Premisses therein
       mentioned to be the Right Estate and Property of the within named Richard Snowden
       according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed Acknowledged before me this
       11.th June 1755                                                            John Brice

               This Indenture Made the Nintieth Day of June in the
       Year of Our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and fifty five Between
       John Cormack Stephen Richards and Daniel Richards all of Frederick
       County Farmers of the one part and Basil Dorsey of Ann Arundel County
       Gent of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Carmack Stephen
       Richards and Daniel Richards for and in Consideration of the sum of
       Twelve pounds Current Money of Maryland to them in hand paid by
       the said Basil Dorsey Before the Ensealing and Delivery of these
       Presents the Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and thereof
       and of Every part and parcell thereof do freely Clearly and absolutely acquitt
       Exonerate and Discharge the Said Basil Dorsey his Executors and
       Administrators by these presents and for Divers other Good Causes
       and Considerations then thereunto Moving they the said John Cormack
       Stephen Richards and Daniel Richards have granted bargained sold
       Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed And by these Presents Do grant
       Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff and Confirm unto the Said Basil
       Dorsey and his Heirs all that Tract or Parcell of Land called
       Hopsons Choice Lying and being in Frederick County containing
       and Laid out for twenty five Acres of Land More or less which said
       Tract or parcell of Land was heretofore Granted to the said John
       Cormack Stephen Richards and Daniel Richards by Pattent
       Bearing Date the twenty third Day of January in the Year of our
       Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty three and all and
       singular the Houses Gardens Meadows and Improvements
       to the same belonging and also the Revertion and Revertions
       Remainder and Remainders Right Estate Interest Benefit Claim
       and Demand whatsoever of them the said John Cormack
       Stephen Richards and Daniel Richards of in and to all and Singular
       the said Land and Premisses and of in and to Every part
