466) Authorize Constitute and Appoint the afs.d Robert Foster Jacob Giles James Rigby and Isaac Webster to Ordain Authorize Constitute and Appoint any other Person or Persons to be their True and Lawfull Attorney or Attorneys under them or any two of them for the Purpose afs.d to make and at their or any two of their Pleasures to Revoke hereby Rattafying allowing and Confirming all and every Act or Action whatsoever our said Attorneys or any us two of them shall in our names Lawfull do or cause to be done in and about the Premisses afs.d By Virtue of these Presents In Witness whereof we the said John Nixon and Mary Boustead have hereunto each for our selves put our hands and seals the eighteenth day of January in the Twentieighth year of our Sovereign Lord George the second by the Grace of God of Great Brittain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth And in the Year of our Lord Christ One thousand Seven hundred and fifty four John Nixon seal Sealed Signed and Delivered being first duly Stamped in the Presents of me Mary Bowsted seal who also hereby Certifie the Truth of the Executing these Presents under my hand and the Common seal seal of the Borough of Cockermouth in the County of Cumberland Wilfrid Clementson Bailiff and Cheif Magistrate of the Borough aforesaid 5 1/2 sides Recorded May the 22.d 1754 Ex.d This Indenture made the ninth day of Mary in the year of our Lord One Thousand seven hundred and fifty four Between Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Esquire of the one part and Thomas Harrison of Baltimore County Merchant of the other part Witnesseth that the said Charles Carroll for and in Consideration of the Rents and Covenants herein after Reserved on the part and behalf of the said Thomas Harrison to be paid and Proformed Hath Leased Demised and to farm letten And by these Presents Doth lease Dimise and to farm let unto the said Thomas Harrison his Executors Administrators and Assigns all that part or Parcell of a Lott of Land Lying and being in Baltimore Town in Baltimore County afs.d know by the Number forty Nine which part or Parcell hereby Demised or intended so to be of the afs.d Lot of Land Begins Six Perches South from the North west Corner of the whole Lot And runing thence South Eight Perches and a Quarter part of a Perch to the end of the south line of the whole Lot then with the line of the whole lot South Seventy two Degrees and thirty minutes East Eight Perches and half a Perch Then North Sixteen Perches and three Quarters of a Perch Then west four Perches South Six Perches and then West four Perches to the ^place of^ Begining Bounded on the West by Calvert Street and on the Southward by the Head of the North West branch on the East by a Lot Numbered (52) now in Possession of William Lux and Agnes his Wife the Daughter of Doctor George Walker and on the North by a Land called Looly Land with all Ways Passages Waters Water Courses Easments Proffits Buildings Emoluments (Improvements) |
