467) Improvements and Advantages whatsoever to the same part or Parcell of the Lot aforesaid belonging or in any wise Appertaining To have and to hold the afs.d part or Parcell of the Lot of Land aforesaid and Premisses with the Appurtenances hereby Leased or Demised or mentioned or Intended so to be unto him the said Thomas Harrison his Executors Administrators and Assigns Commenceing from the Twenty fifth day of December 1733 for and during and untill the full end and Term of Ninety nine Years then next to come fully to be Compleat and ended Yeilding and paying therefor yearly and every year during the said Term unto the said Charles Carroll his heirs and Assigns upon the Twenty fifth day of December during the Term afs.d the sum of five Pounds five shillings Sterling Money the first payment thereof to begin and be made on the Twenty fifth day of December which shall be in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty four And the said Thomas Harrison doth Hereby for himself his Executors Administrators and Assigns Covenant Promise Grant and agree to and with the said Charles Carroll his heirs and Assigns that he the said Thomas Harrison his Executors Administrators and Assigns shall and will well and Truly pay unto the said Charles Carroll his heirs and Assigns the afs.d sum of Five Pounds five shillings Sterling Money at the times and in the manner herein before for that Purpose limitted and Appointed In Witness whereof the said Parties have to these Presents Interchangeably set their hands and seals the day and year first above Written Signed Sealed and Delivered in Presence of us Cha Carroll seal Thomas Nash W.m Baker On the Back of the aforegoing Lease was thus Endorsed (Viz.t) May 9.th 1754 Came the within Named Charles Carroll Esq.r before ^me^ the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within named Thomas Harrison according to the True Intent and Purport of the within Deed Jn.o Brice 6 sides Recorded May the 27.th 1754 Maryland to wit (N.o 2) Ex.d This Indenture made this Twenty Second day of May in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and fifty Four Between Richard Wade of Charles County Planter of the first Part Josias Adams of the said County Planter of the Second part and Jeremiah Chase of the said County Gentleman of the Third part Witnesseth that the said Richard Wade for and in Consideration of the sum of Five Shillings Lawfull Money of Great Britain to him in hand paid by the said Josias Adams at or before the Ensealing & Delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged hath given granted released and Confirmed And by these presents doth give Grant release and Confirm unto the said Josias Adams all those Tracts or parcells of |
