465 in their stead for Conveniency of Collecting any of the said Effects and at their Pleasure Revoke hereby Rattyfying Allowing and Confirming all and whatsoever our said Attorneys or any two of them shall in the Companys name do or lawfully cause to be done in and about the Premisses In Witness whereof the said Christopher Wilson have hereunto for my self and Company being duly Authorized as their Agent for the afs.d put my hand and seal the Paper being first duly Stamped this Eighteenth day of January in the thirty ^Twenty^ Seventh Year of the Reign of our sovereign Lord George the Second by the Grace of God of Great Brittain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth and so forth and in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty four Signed Sealed & Declared to and for Christ.o Wilson seal the uses above mentioned (the Paper being first stamped in the sight and Presence of us who Certify the Truth of duly Executing these Presents under my hand & the Common Seal of the Borough of Cockermouth seal in the County of Cumberland Wilfred Clementson Bailiff and Cheif Magistrate of the Borough afs.d Recorded May 22.d 1754 5 sides Ex.d Know all men by these Presents that We John Nixon and Mary Boustead of Whitehaven in the County of Cumberland Merch.ts have made Ordained Authorized Constituted and Appointed and by these Presents do make Ordain Authorize Constitute and Appoint Robert Foster Jacob Giles James Rigby and Isaac Webster or any two of them all living on the Western shore in the Province of Maryland in America Merchants our True and lawfull Attorneys (or any two of them) for us and in our names And for our proper use to Ask Demand Sue for Recover and Receive of from any other person or Persons whomsoever it doth or shall Concern all Such Sum and Sums of Money Goods Wares and Merchandizes Debts and Demands which now are due and owing or in any wise belonging to the said John Nixon and Mary Boustead By and from the said Lancelot Waker and Nathan Wright or any other Person or Persons whatsoever or whomsoever Residing in the said Province or in any part of America North or South Carolina or others of his Majestys Plantations and in Default of Payment thereof to have use and take all Lawfull Ways and means in the Names of us the said John Nixon and Mary Bousted or otherwise for the Recovery thereof By Attachments Arrests Action Suit Entry Execution Distress or otherwise (and to Compound and agree for the same) and on Receipt thereof Acquittance or other sufficient Discharges for the same for us and in our names to make Seal & Deliver and to do all Lawfull Acts and things whatsoever Concerning the Premisses as fully in every Respect as we the said John Nixon and Mary Boustead might or could do if we were then and there ^Personally^ Present and we the said John Nixon and Mary Boustead do further Ordain (Authorize) |
