       Sincerely Declare Testify and Depose to be true the several matters and things
       mentioned and Contained in the said Affidavit Annexed
                               In Faith and Testimony whereof I the said Lord Mayor have
                               Caused the Seal of the Office of Mayoralty of the said City of London to
       Seal                  be hereunto put and Affixed and the Deed of Substitution mentioned and
                                Referred to in and by the said Affidavit to be hereunto also Annexed
                                Dated in London the Nineteenth day of April in the Year of our Lord 1753


          London fs.t   Daniel Cookson of Philpot Lane London Clerk to M.r Charles
       Carnan of London maketh Oath the he was present and did see Henry Voght Charles
       Worrall, John Barton, Thomas Harrop, Jabez Bloxham and James Gibson all of
       London Merchants Assignees in Trust of the Estate and Effects of the said Charles
       Carnan Severally Sign Seal and as their Act and Deed Execute and Deliver the
       Original Deed of Substitution hereunto annexed bearing Date the Ninth day of March
       last whereby the said Assignees have Substituted and Appointed John Carnan of Baltimore
       Town within Maryland in America and Daniel Chamier of the City of London
       Merchant to be their Substitutes and Attorneys to and for the Uses and Purposes therein
       mentioned and that thereupon he this Deponent together with James Lucas did sett &
       Subscribe their Names as Witnesses to the Execution of the said Deed of Substitution
       as thereby doth and may appear                                          Daniel Cookson
       Sworn the Nineteenth day of April
       1753   Before me               Crisp Gascoyne Mayor

Ex.d This Indenture made the sixth day of April in the Year of our Lord
       One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty three Between Basil Beall of Frederick
       County Planter of the one part and David Ross of Prince Georges County Merchant of the
       other part Witnesseth that the said Basil Beall for and in Consideration of the Sum of
       Sixty three Pounds ten Shillings Currency in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said
       David Ross the Receipt whereof the said Basil Beall Doth hereby Acknowledge and
       for other good Causes and Considerations him hereunto moving Hath Given Granted
       Bargained and Sold Released and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Give
       Grant Bargain and Sell Release and Confirm unto the said David Ross his Heirs
       and Assigns for ever All that Parcel of Land left to him by the Will of his Father
       being part of a Tract of Land called Poplar Thickett lying and being in Frederick
       County near Kictocton Mountain Containing One hundred Acres more or less and
       the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders of all and singular the
       Premisses herein before Granted and every part and Parcel thereof with their and
       every of their Rights Members and Appurtenances and all the Estate Right Title
       and Interest Use Trust Possession Property Profit Claim and Demand
