334) Then came Before me the subscriber One of the Justices of the Provincial Court Martin Wetsall party to the Within deed and Acknowledged the same and the Land and Premisses therein Mentioned to be the Right and Estate of the within Mentioned Charles Carroll his heirs and Assigns for ever According to the Act in such case made and Provided Dec.r 26.th 1752 Geo Steuart 5 1/2 Recorded December 27.th 1752 Ex.d This Indenture made this Twentieth day of February in the Year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and fifty three Between Benedict Calvert of the City of Annapolis Esq.r and Elizabeth Calvert of the City of Annapolis Wife of the said Benedict Calvert Esq.r and only Surviving Daughter and Heir at Law of the Honourable Charles Calvert late of the City of Annapolis Esq.r deceased on the one part and Christopher Lowndes of Bladensburg in Prince Georges County Merchant of ^on^ the other part Witnesseth that the said Benedict Calvert and Elizabeth his Wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of Two hundred and seven Pounds three Shillings and ten Pence Sterling in hand paid or Secured to be paid the Receipt whereof the said Benedict Calvert and Elizabeth his Wife do and each of them doth hereby Acknowledge and for other good Causes and Considerations them and each of them hereunto moving Have Given Granted Bargained and Sold Released and Confirmed and by these Presents Do and each of them doth give grant bargain and Sell Release and Confirm unto the said Christopher Lowndes his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that Part or Parcel of the Tract of Land called the Charles and Rebecca with the Appurtenances Scituate lying and being in Prince Georges County the said Part or Parcel Beginning at the end of Seventy five Perches on the fourth line of the said Tract of Land near the head of the Eastern Branch of Potomack in Prince Georges County thence North Sixty three Degrees and one Quarter East fifteen Perches, then North fifty eight Degrees East twenty Perches then North forty one Degrees and one half East thirteen Perches then East twenty six Perches then South ten Perches then East fourteen Perches and one half Perch then North thirty Perches then East sixteen Perches and one half Perch then North fifty three Perches then West sixteen Perches and one half Perch then North Twenty seven Degrees and one half East thirty Perches then North forty two Degrees East thirty three Perches then North fifty three Degrees East thirty eight Perches then North fifty nine Degrees East Seventeen Perches then North thirty Degrees East thirty nine Perches then North forty Degrees East thirty six Perches then North thirty three Degrees East thirty seven Perches then North twenty two Degrees East twenty six Perches then North forty seven Degrees and one half East fifty six Perches then North Seven Degrees and one half West twenty four Perches then North thirteen Degrees East thirty nine Perches then North twenty eight Degrees East thirty eight Perches then North twenty four Degrees East twelve Perches then North forty six (Degrees) |
