333) Ex.d This Indenture made the Twenty sixth day of December in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty and two Between Martin Wetsall of Frederick County Farmer of the One Part and Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Merchant of the Part Witnesseth that Whereas the said Martin Wetsall by his Deed duly Executed Acknowledged and Recorded bearing date the second day of September last Past did Bargain and sell unto him the said Charles Carroll One Tract or Parcell of Land being the Dwelling Plantation of him the said Martin Wetsall Called Vine Garden Containing One hundred and fifty Acres of Land with the Appurtenances for and in Consideration of the sum of One hundred and five Pounds Current Money of Maryland as by the said Deed Reference thereto being had may Appear Now this Indenture further Witnesseth that the said Martin Wetsall for and in Consideration of the further sum of Twenty five Pounds Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid and satisfied at and before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents Hath given granted Bargained and sold released and Confirmed and by these Presents doth Absolutely Grant Bargain sell release and Confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll his heirs and Assigns for ever All his right Title Estate and Interest either in Law or Equity of in or to the said Tract of Land Called Vine Garden with its Appurtenances and also all houses Orchards Gardens Fenceing Woods Underwoods Grain in the Ground or Growing and all other the Advantages thereon or thereto in any wise Belonging or Appurtaining To have and to hold unto him the said Charles Carroll his heirs and Assigns for ever the said Tract of Land Called Vine Garden Containing One hundred and fifty Acres Scituate in Frederick County as aforesaid being the Dwelling Plantation of him the said Martin Wetsall with its Appurtenances And the said Martin Whetsall doth Covenant and agree to and with the said Charles Carroll his heirs and Assigns that he the said Charles Carroll his heirs or assigns for ever shall and may Peaceably and quietly have hold Use Occupy Possess and Enjoy the said Land and Premisses above mentioned and every part and Parcell thereof as well against him the said Martin Wetsall as against all Manner of Person or Persons Claiming or to Claim from by or under him In Witness Whereof and the foregoing Premisses the said Parties to these Presents have Interchangeable sett their hands and seals the day and Year first above Written of On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was The MW Mark seal Sealed and Delivered thus Indorsed (Viz.t) Martin Wetsall in the Presence of James Chalmers W Webb 1752 Tho.s Wills Received of Doctor Charles Carroll the sum of Twenty five Pounds Current Money being the Consideration Money Within Mentioned I say Rec.d by me the day and Year Within Written of Test James Chalmers The MW Mark W.m Webb Martin Wetsall 1752 Tho.s Wills (Then) |
