       bearing ^Date^ the fourteenth Day of February in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand
       seven hundred and fifty Two and Made or Mentioned to be made between the said
       William Tower Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson of the One Part and
       the said James Dobbins of the Other Part whereby in Consideration of the Sum of Two
       Hundred and Ninety Five Pounds of Lawfull Money of Great Brittain to them the
       said William Tower Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson in hand paid by
       the said James Dobbins they the said William William Tower Bartholomew Pomeroy and
       Joseph Janson did Bargain sell Remise Release and confirm unto the said James
       Dobbins his Heirs and Assigns all and every the Premisses above particularly
       Mentioned and set forth in the above in part Recited Indenture of Lease and
       Bargain and Sale To Hold to the said James Dobbins his Heirs and Assigns
       for ever as in and by the said above in part recited Indenture of Release relation
       being thereunto had may more fully and at large appear Now Know Ye that
       the said William Tower Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson for divers
       good Causes and Considerations them hereunto moving Have and each of them
       Hath made Ordained Constituted authorized and Appointed and by these
       Presents Do and each of them Doth make ordain constitute Authorize and
       appoint their Good Friend the said James Dobbins now of London Mariner
       and David Ross of Bladenburgh in the Province of Maryland Merchant their
       true and lawfull Attorney and Attorneys irrevocable for them and in their
       Names and in their place and stead to appear for them and each of them and
       acknowledge the ^said^ above in part recited Indenture of Lease or bargain and
       Sale and Indenture of Release of the said Premisses both or either as ^need or^ Occasion
       shall be and the Law of the said Province of Maryland shall require before
       the resident Governor of the said Province of Maryland aforesaid or any other
       of the Chief Judges or Justices for the Time being of some of the Courts of Justice
       or some other of the Person or Persons thereunto Lawfully Authorized and appointed
       and do also give to their said Attorneys or either of them full Power and Authority
       to Inrole or Register the said above in part recited Indenture of Lease or Bargain
       and Sale and Indenture of Release both or either of them or cause the same
       to be Inrolled or Registred in the proper Court or Office of the said Province of
       Maryland, or to take any other way or Method for securing or ascertaining
       to the said James Dobbins the said Land Ground and Premisses above in the said
       in part recited Indenture of Lease or Bargain and Sale and Release more
       Particularly Described and as it is or may be the Custom or Practice of the
       said Province Giving and granting unto their said Attorneys or either of
       them their full Power and Authority in the premisses as fully and effectually
       as if they themselves were Personally Present and One or more Attorney or Attorneys
       under them to appoint and at Pleasure to revoke hereby ratifying allowing
