306) and Made or Mentioned to be Made between the said William Tower Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson by the name and Description aforesaid of the One Part and James Dobbins of London aforesaid Mariner and Captain in the Virginia and Maryland Trade of the Other Part, whereby for the Considerations of Ten Shillings to each of them the said William Tower Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson in hand paid by the said James Dobbins they the said William Tower Bartholomew Pomeroy and Joseph Janson did Grant bargain and sell unto the said James Dobbins his Heirs and Assigns All that Piece or parcell of Ground or Land containing by Estimation One Acre be the same more or less situate in or near Baltimore Town in the County of Baltimore in the Province of Maryland markt out in Two Lotts according to the Custom of the said Province and which Two Lotts are numbred 59 and 60 together with a large Brick Messuage or Tenement on the said Land or Ground Erected and Built which Messuage or Tenement and some part of the Land or Ground hereby or Intended to be hereby Granted are now or lately were in the Tenure or Occupation of Captain Michael Hubbard His Undertenants and or Assigns and the Test of the Land Ground and premisses are now or lately were unoccupied and untennanted, And Also all Houses Outhouses Barns Stables Sheds Edifices Erections Buildings Yards Gardens Orchards Lands Meadows Pastures Marsh Grounds Commons and Common of Pasture, Banks Pales Mounds Fences Ditches Ways Paths Passages Waters Water Courses Trees Woods Underwoods, Profitts Rights Priviledges Members Commodities advantages Emoluments Hereditaments and Appurtenances whatsoever on or to the said Piece or Parcell of Land or Ground Messuage or Tenement Hereditaments and Premisses or any part or Parcell thereof belonging or any wise appertaining or therewith now or heretofore usually Used Occupied or Enjoyed let the said Land or Ground Messuage or Tenement Hereditaments and Premisses go by the same Name or Names and Description or any other Names or Descriptions than what is or are herein before mentioned and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders Rents Issues and Profitts of all and singular the said Premisses and every part and parcell thereof To hold unto the said James Dobbins his Executors Administrators and Assigns from the Day ^before the day^ of the Date thereof for and during and unto the full End and Term of one Whole Year at the Rent of One Pepper Corn, to the Intent that by Virtue thereof and by force of the Statute for transferring Uses into Possession he the said James Dobbins might be in the Actual Possession of all and singular the said Premisses with the Appurtenances and be thereby enabled to take and Accept of a Sale and Release of the Reversion and Inheritance thereof to him and his Heirs to the Only Proper Use and Behoofe of the said James Dobbins His Heirs and Assigns for ever as by the said Indenture of Lease or Bargain and Sale Relation being thereunto had may more fully and at large appear And Whereas by Indenture of Release (bearing) |
