283) part Witnesseth That the said Thomas Bladen for and in Consideration of the Sum of three hundred and thirty Pounds Sterling Money to him in hand paid by the same Zebulon Hollingsworth the Receipt whereof the said Thomas Bladen doth hereby Acknowledge he the said Thomas Bladen hath Granted Bargained and Sold Aliened and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Grant Bargain & Sell Alien and Confirm unto the said Zebulon Hollingsworth his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that part of a Tract or Parcel of Land called Friendship taken up by Nicholas Painter and Patented to said Nicholas in the Year of our Lord Sixteen hundred and eighty one Situate lying and being in Cecil County in the Province of Maryland on or near the head of Elk River which he the said Thomas Bladen now has any Right Title Claim or Demand to which at this time is Esteemed be about eight hundred and twenty Seven Acres And also all Trees Woods Underwoods Profits and Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Messuage Tenement or Parcel of Land and Premisses above mentioned belonging or any wise appertaining and all the Interest Estate Right Title Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Thomas Bladen of in and to the said Tract or Parcel of land and the Appurtenances and every part and parcel thereof To have and to hold the said Messuage Tract or Parcel of Land and all and singular the Premisses above mentioned with the Appurtenances unto the said Zebulon Hollingsworth his Heirs and Assigns, And the said Thomas Bladen does by these Presents for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators Covenant Promise and Agree to and with the said Zebulon Hollingsworth his Heirs and Assigns and every of them shall or may from time to time and at all times hereafter Peaceably and Quietly have hold Use Occupy Possess and Enjoy all and singular the Premisses herein before mentioned or intended to be hereby Granted and Sold and every part and parcel thereof with the Appurtenances without any Let Suit Denial Eviction or Interruption whatsoever of or by him the said Thomas Bladen his Heirs or Assigns or of or by any other Person or Persons whatsoever Lawfully Claiming or to Claim by from or under him and further that he the said Thomas Bladen his Heirs Executors or Administrators Lawfully Claiming or to Claim any Estate Right Title or Interest of in or to or out of the same hereby Granted Premisses or any part or parcel thereof by from or under or in Trust for him or them shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter upon the Request and at the Cost & Charge of the aforesaid Zebulon Hollingsworth his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns make do Acknowledge Execute and Suffer or cause to Procure to be done made and Acknowledged Executed and Suffered all such further and other reasonable Acts Matters and Things Conveyances and Assurances in the Law whatsoever for the better further and more perfect Assuring and Conveying of the same Land and Premisses and every part and parcel thereof unto the same Zebulon Hollingsworth his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and meaning of these Presents as by the said Zebulon his Heirs Executors or Administrators shall be reasonably Devised Advised or Required and the said Thomas Bladen for himself and his Heirs Executors and Administrators the above Granted Land and Premisses against him and his Heirs and every Person or Persons claiming under them to the said Zebulon Hollingsworth his Heirs and Assigns shall Warrant (and) |
