284) and forever defend by these Presents In Testimony whereof the Party to these Presents has hereunto set his hand and seal the day and Year first above Written Signed Sealed and Delivered Benj Tasker Junior Seal in Presence of Us Attorney in fact for Geo Steuart Thomas Bladen Esq.r Nich.o Hyland On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Be it Remembered that Benjamin Tasker Junior (within mentioned) of Annapolis Attorney in Fact for the within named Thomas Bladen on this sixth day of June in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and fifty two Personally appeared before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships the Right Honourable the Lord Proprys Justices of the Provincial Court and Acknowledged the within Written Indenture of Bargain and Sale to be his Act and Deed and the Land and Premisses therein mentioned and Intended to be Granted to be the Right and Property of the within named Zebulon Hollingsworth his Heirs and Assigns for ever Geo Steuart June the Sixth 1752 Then received of the within named Zebulon Hollingsworth the Sum of three hundred and thirty Pounds Sterling in full of the within Consideration on the behalf and for the Use of the within named Thomas Bladen Nich.o Hyland Benj Tasker Junior Attorney in fact for Thomas Bladen Esq.r 6 June 1752 Received of the within named M.r Hollingsworth for the Use of the Right Honble the Lord Baltimore three & thirty Shillings Sterling ^being^ for the Alienation fine of the within eight hundred and twenty seven Acres of Land 9 Benj.a Tasker Recorded June 10.th 1752 Ex.d This Indenture made this Nineteenth day of June One Thousand seven hundred & fifty two Between Philip Holleadger formerly of Kent County in the Province of Maryland but now of Kent County upon Delaware Eldest Son and Heir at Law to Phillip Holleadger late of Kent County in the ^afd^ Province of Maryland Deceased who was Eldest Son and Heir at Law to Phillip Holeadger of the same County who took up and had Surveyed the several Tracts and Parcels of Land herein after mentioned of the one part and Thomas Harris of Queen Annes County in the afsd Province of Maryland of the other part Witnesseth that the said Phillip Holeadger for and in Consideration of the Sum of Two hundred and fifty five Pounds Current Money of the afsd Province of Pensylvania to him the said Phillip Holeadger by the said Thomas Harris in hand paid the Receipt whereof the said Phillip Holeadger doth hereby Acknowledge and himself therewith fully Satisfyed Contented and paid and thereof doth hereby Acquit Exonerate and Discharge the said Thomas Harris his ^Heirs^ Executors and Administrators Hath Granted Bargained and Sold Released and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Grant Bargain and Sell Release and Confirm unto the said Thomas Harris his Heirs & Assigns for ever All that Tract or Parcel of Land called Phillips Choice and all that Tract or Parcel of Land called Posternhole and all that Tract or Parcel of Land called Tibbles and all that Tract (or) |
