246) Absolutely Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Release and Confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll the following two Tracts of Land situate and being in Frederick County that is to say Harry's Grave containing One hundred and forty Acres and Sarahs Delight Ninety Acres both Granted unto him the said David Wattson for the Quantitys afsd as also a Resurvey made upon the later Containing in the whole five hundred Acres as by the Certificate of Resurvey now in the Land Office dated April 6.th 1751 together with all Buildings Improvements and Appurtenances and Advantages on the said lands or any of them being belonging and Appertaining To have and to hold unto him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for Ever the said Tracts ^of Land^ called Harry's Grave One hundred and forty Acres and Sarah's Delight Ninety Acres together with the said Resurvey now being five hundred Acres with their Appurtenances and the said David Wattson doth Covenant and Agree with the said Charles Carroll that he the said David and ^his^ Heirs shall and will Warrant and for Ever Defend the said Land and Premisses to him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs and Assigns for ever as well against him the said David & his Heirs as against all manner of Persons and Claims whatsoever Provided always and the true Intent and meaning of these Presents is That in Case the said David Wattson or his Heirs shall and do well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto him the said Charles Carroll his Heirs Exec.rs or Adm.rs at or upon the fourteenth day of March the Sum of Fifty three Pounds ten Shillings Sterling Money of Great Britain with the Lawfull Interest thereof then this foregoing Deed of Bargain and Sale shall become Null and Void otherwise remain in full force and Virtue according to the express Words In Witness whereof and the foregoing Premisses the said Parties to these Presents have Interchangeably set their hands and seals the Day and Year first above Written Sealed and Delivered In Presence of David Watson Seal Arthur Charlton Edward Nicholas On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed Viz.t Reced of Charles Carroll of Annapolis Merchant the Sum of fifty two Pounds ten Shillings Sterling being the Consideration within mentioned, I say Rec.d by me this 14.th day of March 1752 Witness Arthur Charlton Edward Nicholas David Watson March 14.th 1752 Then Came before me one of the Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland the within Named David Wattson and Acknowledged the within Deed according to Law Acknowledged before me 5 Robert Gordon Recorded March 16.th 1752 This Indenture made this Second day of April in the Year of our Lord God One Thousand seven hundred and fifty two Between Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Esquire on the one part and Charles Carroll of the place Surgeon on the other part Witnesseth That Whereas a certain John Youngblood of Frederick County was Indebted unto Daniel Dulany Esquire (and) |
