       pence Sterling at the time and in manner and form afsd shall and will well and truly pay &

       October 26.th 1751   Then Received of John Brice the Sums of two hundred ninety four
       Pounds nineteen shillings and two pence Current Money and three hundred sixty and one
       Pounds fifteen Shillings and nine pence Sterling being the Consideration Money within
       mentioned said to be paid by the said John Brice to me as Witness my hand

       Be it Remembered that on the 26.th day of October Anno Dom 1751 the within named Samuel
       Howard Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and
       Premisses Goods and Chattels therein mentioned And also the Negroes & stock of Cattle Hoggs
       Sheep and Horses therein mentioned and their and every of their Increase to be the Right and
       Estate of the within named John Brice his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true
       Intent and meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in that Case made and
       provided                                                before

Ex.d This Indenture made the 15.th day of November in the Year of our Lord One Thousand
       Seven hundred and fifty one Between Richard Tuchston of Frederick County Weaver of the one
       part and Michael Crager of the Province of Pensylvania of the other part Witnesseth that the said
       Richard Tuchston for and in Consideration of the Sum of One hundred and ninety Pounds
       Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the said Michael Crager the receipt
       whereof will make appear Hath by these Presents Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened and
       Confirmed And Doth freely and Absolutely Give Grant Bargain sell Alien and Confirm unto the
       said Michael Crager his Heirs and Assigns All that Tract or Parcel of Land called Anchor & Hope
       lying and being in Frederick County afsd Beginning at a Bounded Black Oak standing
       on the Northside of Catocktin Creek and running thence North seventy nine Degrees west
       sixty five Perches then South nine Degrees Eat Sixty six Perches then South Seventy six
       Degrees East nineteen Perches then South thirty six West fifty two Perches then South
       Sixty two West ninety four Perches then South ten Degrees West eighty eight Perches then South
       Sixty nine East One hundred and two Perches then South eleven East thirty eight Perches
       then South fifty five East ninety two Perches then North sixty East twenty Perches then
