193) Assigns one Ear of Indian Corn on the afs.d Granted Premisses if the same shall be demanded to the true Intent and Purpose and the better to Enable the same Mary to Grant Release and Convey all and singular the afs.d hereby Granted and Bargained One Hundred Acres of Land with the Premisses and Appurtenances thereto belonging and the Reversion and Inheritance thereof unto the same William Green his Heirs and Assigns for ever to the Uses Intent and Purposes and in such Sort manner & form as the same Mary doth intend hereafter to Grant Release and Convey the same by Indenture intended to bear date the day next after the day of the date of these Presents In Witness whereof the Partys afs.d have hereunto Interchangeably set their hands and Seals the day and Year first above Written Sealed and Delivered In Presence her of James Stenson Mary + Reccords Seal his Samuel S Sparks mark On the back of the aforegoing Lease was thus Endorsed Viz.t On the second Day of July Anno Dm 1751 Mary Riccard within named Personally came before me the underwritten one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland and freely Acknowledged the within Written Indenture to be her Act and Deed to the Uses therein mentioned Witness my hand 6 Recorded Oct.r 4.th 1751 R.d Tilghman Ex.d This Indenture Tripartite made this Second day of July in the Year of our Lord Christ One Thousand seven hundred and fifty one Between Mary Riccard of New Castle County on Delaware Widow of the first part William Green of Queen Annes County in Maryland Planter of the Second part and Absolam Sparks of Queen Annes County of the third part Witnesseth that the same Mary Riccard as well for the Docking Barring and Cutting off all Estates Tail Reversions Remainders and all other Estate and Estates Terms and Interests whatsoever heretofore Created limitted or declared of for in or concerning all that Parcel of Land called Bradford lying and being in Queen Annes County aforesaid on the South East side of Chester River on the North East side of John Elletts Branch Beginning at a marked Oak and running from the said Oak for breadth North North East fifty Perches to a marked Poplar and from the same Poplar for length West North West three hundred and twenty Perches and from the end of the West North West line with a line drawn South South West fifty Perches and from the end of the South South West line with a Streight line to the first Bounded Tree Containing and laid out for One hundred Acres of Land more or less and for the Settling and Assuring the same Parcel of Land with the Appurtenances to and for the Uses Intent and Purposes herein and hereby after limitted expressed mentioned and declared and for and in Consideration of the Sum of Ten Thousand Pounds of Tobacco unto the same Mary Riccard by the afsd William Green in hand already paid the Receipt whereof is hereby Acknowledged and for divers other good Causes and Valuable Considerations her the same Mary Riccard thereunto moving Hath Granted Remised Released and Confirmed and by these Presents doth Grant Remise Release and Confirm unto the same William Green (in his Actual Possession now (being) |
