       Acknowledged the within Instrument of Writing to be their Act and Deed and to and
       for the Uses Intents and Purposes therein mentioned                     John Hepburn

Ex.d This Indenture made this eighteenth day of April in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred
       and fifty one Between John Cole of Talbot County Wheelright and Anna his Wife of the one
       part and Richard Small of Queen Annes County in the Province afs.d Planter of the other part
       Whereas a Common Recovery according to the Course and Practice of Common Recovery is intended
       by the same John Cole and Anna his Wife to be Suffered to the afs.d Richard Small of a Tract or
       Parcel of Land lying and being in Queen Annes County called Coles Endeavour Beginning
       at a Bounded red Oak standing on the South side of a Long Swamp draining into the head of
       the Northern Branch of the head of Wye River and near the North East by North line of
       a Tract of Land called Henslys Acadia and running from the said Oak South Sixty five
       Degrees East One hundred and eighty Perches then South Twenty five Degrees West One
       hundred and thirty four Perches then North Sixty five Degrees West One hundred and eighty
       Perches thence with a streight line to the afsd red Oak Containing One hundred and fifty
       Acres of Land more or less and for the making a good and sufficient Tenant to the Freehold
       for the said Recovery to be well and sufficiently suffered Compleated and done with
       double Voucher to Barr all Remainders & dependant Estates whatever of the said
       Land to which the said John Cole & Anna his Wife are now Tenants in Tail Now this
       Indenture Witnesseth that the said John Cole and Anna his Wife for the Uses Intents
       and Purposes afsd and for the further Consideration of five Shillings Sterling Money to
       the same John and Anne his Wife by the same Richard in hand now paid the Receipt
       whereof they do hereby Acknowledge have Given Granted Bargained and Sold and by these
       Presents Do give grant Bargain and Sell Alien Release Enfeoff and Confirm unto the
       said Richard Small for the Uses Intents and Purposes afsd and to his Heirs forever
       all the afsd Tract of Land of One hundred and fifty Acres called Coles Endeavour
       and all Houses Woods Trees ^Timber^ Orchards Fences Improvements and Advantages
       whatsoever to the same Land belonging or any wise appertaining and also all the Estate
       Right Title Interest Property Claim and Demand whatsoever of the same John Cole
       and Anna his Wife of in and to the said Tract of Land and Premisses with the
       Appurtenances and the Reversion and Reversions Remainder & Remainders Rents
       and Services of the Premisses To have and to hold the said Tract of Land and Premisses
       with the Appurtenances for the Intents Uses and Purposes afsd to the same Richard
       Small and his Heirs and Assigns forever In Witness whereof the Parties to these
       Presents have hereunto Interchangeably set their Hands and Seals the Day and
       Year above Written
