Ex.d This Indenture made this Twelfth day of April in the Year of our Lord One Thousand
        Seven hundred and fifty one Between Anthony Smith of Cecil County in the Province of Maryland
        Gentleman of the one part and William Hitchman of the ^same^ County Gentleman of the other part
        Witnesseth that the said Anthony Smith for and in Consideration of the Sum of Two hundred
        Pounds Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the said William Hitchman
        before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents in the receipt whereof the said Anthony
        Smith doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof doth Acquit and Discharge the said William
        Hitchman his Heirs Executors and Administrators for ever Hath Granted Bargained Sold
        Aliened Released Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents for himself & his Heirs Doth
        Clearly and Absolutely Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe Release and Confirm unto the said      
        William Hitchman his Heirs and Assigns forever part of a Tract of Land called Holland
        lying and being on the East side of Susquehannah River in Cecil County Beginning at a
        red Oak being the extent of an East line drawn from a Poplar standing on a high Stoney
        Hill the Northermost Bounded Tree of the said Tract of Land and running from thence
        South one hundred and Ninety five Perches ^West one hundred twenty four & a half Perches North one hundred & ninety five Perches^ to Intersect the East line drawn from the said
        Poplar then with the said East line to the beginning thereby Closing the Survey Containing
        and laid out for One hundred and fifty Acres and all Houses Buildings and Appurtenances
        whatsoever thereunto belonging and all and every the Lands Tenements Hereditaments
        Woods Trees Waters Ways Easements Emeliments Rights Members and Previledges
        thereunto or to any part or parcel thereof belonging or Appertaining or at any time now
        or heretofore Used Occupied Enjoyed Reputed Deemed or take as part parcel or Member
        thereof together with the Reversion and Reversions Remainder and Remainders thereof
        and all the Estate Right Title Claim Property and Demand whatsoever either in Law or
        Equity of him the said Anthony Smith of in or to the same hereby Granted ^Premisses^ and every part thereof
        To have and to hold all and Singular that part of a Tract of Land afsd called Holland
        Tenements Hereditaments Premisses and Appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any
        manner appertaining unto him the said William Hitchman his Heirs and Assigns to
        and for the Sole and Proper Use and behoof of him the said William Hitchman his
        Heirs and Assigns forever And the said Anthony Smith for himself his Heirs Executors
        & Adm.rs Doth hereby Covenant Grant and Agree to and with the said William Hitchman
        his Heirs and Assigns that the afsd hereby Granted and Bargained Tract of Land and
        Appurtenances notwithstanding of any Act or Acts Deed or Deeds or other matter or thing
        by him the said Anthony Smith already had made Committed or done or hereafter to be
        had made Committed or done now are and from henceforth for ever shall remain
        Continue and be unto the said William Hitchman his Heirs and Assigns free and
        Clear and freely and Clearly Acquitted Exonerated and Discharged of an from all
        former and other Gifts Grants Bargains Sales Leases Mortgages Titles Troubles and
        Incumbrances whatsoever of him the said Anthony Smith his Heirs or any other Person
        or Persons whatsoever by from or under him or them Claiming or who hereafter shall
        Claim any Right Title or Interest thereon and that the same William Hitchman his
        Heirs or Assigns shall and may at all times hereafter Peaceable and Quietly have hold
        Occupy Possess and Enjoy all and Singular the afsd Granted Tract of Land Premisses
        and Appurtenances without the least hindrance Interruption or Incumbrance of him
        the said Anthony Smith his Heirs or any other Person or persons by from or under him
        or them Claiming or hereafter of and with the Premisses and Appurtenances thereunto
        belonging and every part thereof as well against himself the said Anthony Smith as
        against all other Person and Persons whatsoever Claiming or who shall Claim any
        Right Title Interest or Property therein or in any part thereof by from or under him
        the said Anthony Smith or his Heirs unto the said William Hitchman his Heirs
        and Assigns shall and will Warrant and for ever by these Presents defend In Witness
        whereof the said Anthony Smith hath hereunto set his hand and Affixed his Seal
        the Day and Year first above Written
